TX Propane Days – March 4
On March 4, legislators and members of the public are invited to experience autogas in action at Texas Propane Day. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Texas State Capitol, come learn about the benefits of propane autogas, the world’s most widely used alternative fuel. Check out a selection of autogas-powered vehicles — from pick-ups to school buses to mowers — on Colorado Street between 12th and 13th Streets.
Clean-burning and cost-efficient, autogas is domestically produced and environmentally friendly. Autogas produces significantly less greenhouse gases and harmful emissions compared to gasoline and diesel vehicles. But going green doesn’t mean sacrificing performance; autogas powered vehicles achieve similar range, horsepower, torque and towing capacity as gasoline vehicles — and experience reduced vehicle maintenance.
The event is hosted by the Texas Propane Gas Association, whose mission is to educate the state about clean-burning propane gas.
